Ok. so tracking food and exercise in this journal wasn't working because I'd slack off and I didn't really know what I was doing - how many kilojoules are too many and how many I have to use up to lose...SO. Everyone in all the communities has been talking about this Sparkpeople site. I signed up and voila one kg lost in three days. So I realise all that jazz about water weight etc etc, but I'm still excited. I started on the Monday and by Wednesday night I was down to 86kgs. Went out, had a big weekend with lots of drinking (too much BEER!) and too much take out and junk food...I was worried, but come Monday I was still on 86! I'll be much happier though if by the end of the second week I've lost a tiny bit more. I really hope this all works out...My birthday is getting so close, and I really want to notice a difference by then, even if it's small.
First short term goal is to fit my work pants comfortably and not feel like I'm going to explode out of them. Followed by fitting into the black jeans that i bought and wore ONCE before they were too tight :S
